  • New to WiRiders from Greenville

Hi, new to the motorcycle riding scene and Zaph encouraged me to check out the forum! It sounds like there are a bunch of great folks on here! My family currently lives in Greenville (Appleton area), I have personally lived in the Appleton area since 1999. I very much enjoyed my 2014 ZX6R this past summer. Looking to gain riding proficiency on the track this year (and eventually speed).

I hope to connect with others on this forum with similar interests, some of my past activities include USCF bicycle racing (I still enjoy to ride road bicycles), autocrossing (raced locally and nationally with the SCCA), and now motorcycles. I am older, I would have liked to have gotten in to motorcycles earlier, but there is only so much time.

Looking forward to the riding season, but also tinkering in the garage until that time comes.

I will post up some shots of my bike later on since I realize this thread is useless without photos!

    Take care and stay warm.

            Welcome to the site buddy.

Greenville is about a 40 minute drive from USAIR, wouldn't be surprised to see a little bike in the garage sometime.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Here is a photo of my Kawasaki from last winter, when it was new. Put about 2800 miles last summer and enjoyed it a lot!

Thanks guys and girls - I am pumped! Today I bought a race bike from this really good guy, he was super helpful to a newbie like me. I hope to one day ride it well enough to honor his excellent build. I will post up some photos soon, but first I need to take one of my girls to a father daughter dance!

                      Have a great night

I was thinking of this as a Chicken Hawk, but my girls are convinced those are Dragon eyes. With only 296cc I'm not sure it qualifies as fire breathing
